The “M2C” conspiracy continues to spread!

The M2C* citation cartel is expanding beyond just Book of Mormon geography and location of the hill Cumorah. Now they’re now pushing Mesoamerican recipes and arts and crafts on the children of the Church!

From the September 2020 issue of the Friend magazine: —Peter Pan

* “M2C” is Jonathan Neville’s acronym for the theory that the Book of Mormon took place in Mesoamerica and that the hill Cumorah in the Book of Mormon is not the same hill in New York where Joseph Smith received the plates of Mormon.

  1. Arnold Friberg depicted Nephite royalty as wearing quetzal feathers, per Mayan custom. The conspiracy goes waaaaaaay back, and is spread every time a missionary hands out a Book of Mormon.

  2. Among the art pieces approved for the foyers of chapels is a picture of the savior blessing the Nephite children by Del Parson. The children are sitting of fallen Mayan obelisks and a Mayan temple is visible behind the angels gathered around the children.

  3. May M2C spread across the world as amazingly as guacamole is spread across a delicious Mexican tostada.
